Thursday 20th June 2024:Arrive Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives who will receive and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal, spend it relaxing and preparing for the excitement ahead!We can organize a visit to David sheldrick, Karen Blixen and Giraffe center depending on time of your arrival.

Friday 21st June 2024:Full day Nairobi city excursion

After a scrumptious and filling breakfast at the hotel, meet your fellow travelers and join a full-day guided tour of Nairobi. Experience many of the city’s philanthropic and conservation highlights with a dose of history and culture. Enjoy visits to the elephant/rhino orphanage at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust; the informative and interactive Giraffe Centre; the old Karen Blixen farmhouse from “Out of Africa” fame – now a museum; as well as the Kazuri Beads Factory, which employs over 300 women.

Lunch will be hosted at one of the tranquil restaurants in the suburbs of Nairobi. On return to the hotel, spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Read a book, take a nap or enjoy a dip in the pool?

Saturday 22nd June 2024: Depart for Amboseli National Park

After having breakfast at the hotel, your knowledgeable driver guide will meet & assist you with check out. You will then head South to Amboseli national park. Amboseli is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro which is the second largest mountain in the world. It dominates the landscape and open plains. Mt Kilimanjaro is located just over the border in Tanzania, aptly known as “The Roof of Africa”.

Arriving with a short game drive enroute to lodge, check in, have lunch and a short rest. After having afternoon tea, you may choose to enjoy leisure time or set off for an afternoon game drive at the park returning to camp in good time for Dinner and overnight.

Sunday 23rd June 2024:Amboseli National Park

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives through Amboseli taking you across this vast lakebed often dry, but still very swampy in areas. Amboseli is best known for its great herds of elephant you’ll often find many of them standing knee deep in the water, spraying themselves to keep cool. There I s a lot of other game here too cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, many types of gazelle and other plains game and it’s all set against the amazing backdrop of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro showing all its glory. You may choose to carry picnic lunches to enjoy in the bush or return to camp for lunch then set off for an afternoon game drive. Make sure to climb the observation hill in the Southwest, where you can not only have a paranomic view of the entire Amboseli National Park, but also overlook the wonders of the equatorial snow mountain of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for a hot relaxing bath, dinner and overnight.

Monday 24th June 2024: Amboseli National Park

Empusel’ – the indigenous name of Amboseli from the language of the Maasai translates to “salty, dusty place”. But in contrast, the constant supply of water from melting glaciers atop Mt Kilimanjaro seeps through the soil to create freshwater springs.
Though it is one of Kenya’s smallest national parks, it is one of the most loved and visited. Even still, don’t let its size fool you; another day of morning and afternoon safaris will complement earlier wildlife sightings and showcase the exceptional biodiversity and iconic scenery.
After a long game drive, ask the expert masseuse for a soothing aromatic treatment to refresh your body and mind.

Tuesday 25th June 2024: Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart after breakfast with packed lunches for a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park located on the floor of the Kenyan Great Rift Valley. This fracture in the earth’s crust stretches around 6000 km from The Middle East to Southern Africa.

On the way, you can have a stopover & enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Great Rift Valley of East Africa. Upon arrival, check in the lodge to ease the fatigue of the journey, enjoy a hot bath and just soak up the stunning views of Lake Nakuru from your lodge, situated in the national park along Lion Hill. An ambience of peace and tranquility will be easy to achieve after a day on safari. You will later have afternoon tea and snacks followed by an evening game drive returning to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wednesday 26th June 2024: Depart for Masai Mara National Reserve

After a hearty breakfast depart with packed lunches then with an exit game drive, head south to the Masai Mara National Reserve – Kenya’s premier wildlife arena with a stop over enroute. Your journey will take you through the Great Rift Valley, arriving at your safari lodge with en-route game viewing. Take a midday rest, enjoy afternoon tea and thereafter venture into the park for a scheduled evening game viewing drive. Return to camp at dusk for hot showers, then an aperitif by the fireside with your hosts and other guests before settling down for dinner.

Thursday 27th June 2024:Masai Mara National Reserve

Rise early with tea or coffee brought to your tent. Enjoy a full breakfast at camp before setting off on a full day game drive to the reserve. You will see differing terrain along with plenty of animal and bird species on your extended game drive. The Masai Mara is home to around 90 species of mammals, a similar number of amphibians and reptiles, and over 450 bird species. Morning and afternoon game-viewing activities will further showcase this wildlife-abundant reserve. Seize another opportunity to view the ‘Big Five’ (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo) and more. Other game includes hippopotami, cheetah, giraffe, wildebeest and numerous antelope species.

Take a break in one of the many scenic viewpoints where your picnic lunch will be set out. Besides immersing yourself in the natural world on safari, you will stop to interact with the local Masai community at a nearby Masai Manyatta village. Learn about the Masai culture, practice the famous Masai jump and this will also be a great opportunity to support the local community by buying some African bead work & artefacts. You will later return to camp after an exhilarating day in the field. Take a hot bath then gather at the campfire for an aperitif before dinner is served later in the evening.

Friday 28th June 2024:Masai Mara National Reserve

Today you may opt to start off the day with either rising early for a morning game drive & bush breakfast or full breakfast at camp before setting off on a full day game drive within Reserve. Take a break in one of the many scenic viewpoints where your picnic lunch will be set out. After your break return to camp for an afternoon waking safari accompanied by very knowledgeable driver guides. Discover the real spirit of Africa and get up-close encounters with Africa’s iconic wildlife. Wind down at camp after an exhilarating day in the field and gather at lounge for an aperitif before dinner is served.

Alternatively, Make the most of your long stay and take in all that the region has to offer. Besides daily land-based game-viewing, why not also experience an aerial view of the never-ending plains below – home to an abundance of wildlife. A truly thrilling way to experience this part of Africa – topped off with an indulgent open-air breakfast upon landing. Book this once-in-a-lifetime experience and float above the plains in a Hot Air Balloon!

Saturday 29th June 2024: Depart

Relish your last day with an early morning breakfast, check out and bid the team goodbye followed by a transfer to Nairobi across the plains. You will depart with packed lunches. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will proceed for dinner at the famous Carnivore restaurant and enjoy a variety of meals including game meat.

You will later be transferred to JKIA airport for your outbound flight back home.
