Tanzania is Africa’s visual masterpiece. It is a country of magnificent natural splendor, astounding wildlife, seductive beaches, charming ancient towns, ancient archaeological sites, and geological wonders. This lush East African Eden is the stunning backdrop to one of nature’s most remarkable events when it hosts the spectacular Great Migration of one million wild animals. The herds move across the Serengeti Plains and charge through the treacherous crocodile-infested Mara River to reach the Mara Nature Reserve in Kenya.

Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, rises from lush, grassy plains and towers over the land. Its snow-capped peak is a sight to behold. Climbing Kilimanjaro is surprisingly easy, and standing on the roof of Africa is a life-changing experience.

There are numerous game parks and reserves available for tourists to visit for an adventure. One of the best known ones is of course the Serengeti National Park where you will find the Great Migration starting and traversing till it makes its way across the Mara River. You will not only get to witness the Great Migration in the area but also the Big Five and other wildlife. There won’t be a shortage of things to see when you’re at the Serengeti National Park.

Another popular tourist location is the Ngorongoro Crater. This crater is a perfect caldera that used to be a supervolcano that erupted years ago and caved in to form what it is now. It’s a spectacular sight to see as you won’t find anything quite like it just anywhere in the world. Get to experience a picnic lunch while observing the wildlife around you go about their daily routine.

Lake Manyara is another location which should be considered for a stop on a trip to Tanzania. When you’re at Lake Manyara you will be able to roam around and see its famous tree climbing lions, giraffes, elephants, flamingos and warthogs amongst others. It’s truly a beautiful scenery to explore.

You’ll also be able to take a break from enjoying a safari adventure to spend time with local tribes learning about their culture and tradition. Experience a different lifestyle to that of yours!

Your adventure awaits you in Tanzania, come to explore and enjoy!

Below is a 6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS THE BEST OF TANZANIA SAFARI;

Itinerary

Day 1Arusha Crown Hotel

You will be picked up from the airport and be driven to the Arusha Crown Hotel. You’ll be briefed on your upcoming safari. Dinner and overnight will be at this hotel.

Day 2Tarangire National Park

You’ll depart for Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Tarangire is one of the largest parks in Tanzania and is located in the Manyara region. It is characterized by the large herds of elephants and tree climbing lions that call it home, as well as the fascinating baobab trees that are renowned for their mythical powers by some of the local cultures. The Tarangire River flows through the park year round and is the only source of water for the animals during the dry season. You’ll find a camp set up in the park for you, which will be your accommodation for the night.

Day 3 & 4Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the camp, you will depart for Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch in hand. You will enjoy a game drive en route. The Serengeti is famed for its incredible wildlife, stunning views and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. In this frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating, witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest will birth more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage begins again. Again, your accommodation will be at a camp that will be set up for you inside the park.

Day 5Ngorongoro Crater

There will be an early morning breakfast at the camp, after which you will head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site located west of Arusha in the crater highlands of Tanzania. The area is named after the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The stunning landscape of Ngorongoro, with its vast expanses of highland plains and concentration of wildlife, animals makes this place one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth. Your accommodation will be at the Karatu Campsite.

Day 6Departure

You’ll have breakfast at the campsite and then drive to Lake Manyara National Park, whose lake Ernest Hemingway claimed was “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The park offers a compact game viewing circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. The lake itself covers two-thirds of the park and the Great Rift Valley provides a stunning backdrop. In the afternoon you will head back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
