Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit, typically 20–30% of the total trip cost.
- Full payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to departure.
- Bookings made within 30 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation by the Client
All cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply:
- More than 60 days before departure: Deposit only
- 30 to 59 days: 50% of total cost
- Less than 30 days: 100% of total cost
- No refunds are issued for missed services, early departure, or no-shows.
3. Cancellation or Alteration by the Company
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to: weather, civil unrest, park regulations, or health emergencies.
- If we cancel the trip before departure, you will receive a full refund (excluding any third-party non-refundable costs).
- We are not liable for compensation beyond the refund of services not rendered.
4. Travel Insurance
- It is a condition of booking that all clients hold comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical treatment and evacuation
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Theft or loss of personal belongings
5. Health and Safety
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically fit for safari activities.
- Please consult your doctor regarding vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis.
- Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
6. Passports and Visas
- A valid passport (minimum 6 months from date of return) is required.
- Clients are responsible for securing all necessary visas and travel permits for their destination(s).
7. Wildlife Sightings and Itinerary Changes
- Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
- Routes and schedules may be adjusted in response to seasonal conditions, animal movements, safety concerns, or park authority rules.
8. Responsibility and Liability
- [Your Safari Company Name] acts only as an agent for transport, accommodation, and other services.
- We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party providers or force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, border closures, etc.).
- Participation is at your own risk.
9. Luggage and Personal Effects
- Soft bags are recommended; weight limits may apply depending on transport.
- We accept no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged luggage or personal belongings.
10. Children and Age Restrictions
- Minimum age requirements may apply for specific activities such as walking safaris or boat excursions.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
11. Image Use
- We may use photos or videos taken during the safari for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to departure.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Data Protection
- We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Personal data collected during booking and communication is used solely for the purpose of arranging and delivering your safari experience.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties unless required for booking services.
- You may request to view, amend, or delete your data at any time by contacting us in writing.
