This travel agreement is between the client and Jungle Dwellers Ltd. In terms of this travel agreement, a booking is defined as a reservation which is done by the client or the client’s travel agency. The client is defined as the person who accepts the booking on behalf of himself.
A travel agency is defined as any agency that places or accepts a booking for any person or group of persons or company with Jungle Dwellers Ltd.
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and must be paid in U.S. dollars cash, credit cards and wire transfer.
All prices are based on costs at the time of publication. Jungle Dwellers reserve the right to change the prices at any time before your booking is made. Jungle Dwellers will confirm price changes, if any, together with our confirmation of your booking.
Upon receipt of tour confirmation, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of total tour charges shall become payable, the balance being due and payable 45 days prior to departure date. In the event of bookings being affected less than 60 days before departure, the full amount charged will forthwith be payable.
Where credit cards are used, we impose a 3.9% charge as bank suffices charges.

For direct deposit, we do not impose any charges but bank charges must be sufficed by you. All the payments should be FREE FROM BANK CHARGES.
All cancellations must be in writing, via fax or mail and be acknowledged by Jungle Dwellers. All Tours, Safaris and Flight tickets have a 100% non-refundable deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total tour cost.
All cancellations received in writing and agreed upon between the client and Jungle Dwellers will receive the following refund:
No refund will be given to the following:
• Itinerary Amended After Departure.
• There will be no refunds from Jungle Dwellers for any unused portions of the tour.
• Lost Travel Time or Substitution of Facilities.
• No tour refund is available should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion.
We employ skilled, multilingual driver guides and specialist guides who have attended tourism, wildlife, birds and culture courses on a regular basis and achieved bronze and silver levels (the highest official rating for a guide in East Africa). With an average of 20 years’ experience per guide, our driver guides know their flora, fauna and cultures extremely well. They are dedicated professionals who are passionate about what they do.
Travel agencies and clients must ensure that passports and visas are valid for the countries visited. Jungle Dwellers cannot be held liable or responsible should a passenger be refused entry into any country for any reason. You can contact the visited country embassy at your home country or contact us for more information.
We will be excused for circumstances beyond our control that are deemed to be forces of nature, such as activities or tours cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions or conditions deemed unsafe for participants.
In addition, we further indemnify ourselves against but not limited to volcanic eruptions, riots, hurricanes, floods, tsunami’s, fires, civil unrest, kidnapping, air disasters, cruise or rail disasters or any other disaster deemed to be out of our control, natural or otherwise.
Please note that the itinerary we provide you with is an intended itinerary and may vary due to logistical reasons. We will strive to provide every activity on the itinerary or where possible we will replace the activity with a suitable substitution.
Should it be deemed necessary due to inclement weather conditions, fire hazard or any other forces of nature or circumstances beyond our control to move clients for their own safety from the establishment where they are staying or where they have booked with us, we reserve the right to do so with little or no notice period.
If the arrangements are made for the same day the tour ends, Jungle dwellers cannot be held responsible for any delays resulting in failure to meet those arrangements.
All flight bookings made by Jungle Dwellers on behalf of clients are non-refundable and do not form part of the normal cancellation policy. Once the flight tickets have been issued to the client the amount paid for the tickets is non-refundable.
The company reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation or mode of transport should condition necessitate such alteration.
Although attacks by wild animals are rare, guests are reminded that many of the animals and reptiles they will see are potentially dangerous. Jungle dwellers, their contracted Tour Operators, selected private lodges and national parks cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused during an incident involving the behaviour of wild animals.
It is strongly recommended that passengers have adequate insurance against cancellation, loss of baggage, personal accident, medical expenses or the unfortunate misfortune of the company Jungle Dwellers being deemed insolvent before the safari departure occurs.
Luggage and Personal items left behind: If you do perhaps leave luggage, a camera or something of value on one of the vehicles or at one of the lodges, where possible, we will assist in getting the found belongings returned to our head office in Nairobi. It is your responsibility from there to arrange with a local freight or shipping company to collect the goods.
Whilst Jungle Dwellers, their employees, and/or agents will take every care against such contingencies, they cannot be held responsible for, and shall be exempt from any liability for
any delay, loss, damage, illness or injury to any person and/or his/her luggage or personal property or alleged inferior accommodation.
All partner vehicles have operating licenses & public Liability. Drivers also have public driving permits.
All partner guides carry cellular telephones and keep in touch with the office on a daily basis. They also have a reliable emergency back-up system in place.
The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
