This safari beach and bush holiday starts in the famed Kenyan wildlife haven Masai Mara renowned for its diverse ecosystem and abundant wildlife, particularly the Great Wildebeest Migration. After exploring the bush experince in Kenya’s major parks, take time to relax and soak up the sun whilst enjoying white sandy beach days and swimming in the Indian Ocean.

Day 1

Masai Mara National Reserve

Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be met by one of our representatives. After receiving you, drive through the great Riftvalley to the Maasai Mara National Park. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti Vast Plains famously known for its spectacular great Wild beast Migration and is home to big 5 : Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino . Arrive Mara enjoying a short game drive enroute at camp. Have lunch at camp, relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. Other animals in the Park include Maasai Gifaffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, Tophi, both Thompsons and Grant Gazelles.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Rise early with tea or coffee brought to your tent. Enjoy a full breakfast at camp before setting off on a full day game drive to the reserve. You will see differing terrain along with plenty of animal and bird species on your extended game drive. Take a break in one of the many scenic viewpoints where your picnic lunch will be set out. After your break continue game driving until you arrive back at camp late in the afternoon. Wind down at camp after an exhilarating day in the field and gather at the campfire for an aperitif before dinner is served later in the evening.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve

Today you may opt to start off the day with either rising early for a morning game drive & bush breakfast or full breakfast at camp before setting off on a full day game drive within Reserve. Take a break in one of the many scenic viewpoints where your picnic lunch will be set out. After your break head for a Masai village visit and learn about the Masai culture. Probably get some souvenirs too. Wind down at camp after an exhilarating day in the field and gather at the lounge for an aperitif before dinner is served. You may wish to visit a traditional Maasai manyatta (village)

Day 4

Nakuru National Park

Depart after breakfast with packed lunches for a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way, you can have a stopover & enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Great Rift Valley of East Africa. You may purchase some souvenirs at the curio shops. Upon arrival, check in the lodge to ease the fatigue of the journey, enjoy a hot bath followed by afternoon tea and snacks. You will later embark for an evening game drive. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Amboseli National Park

Rise early for a morning game drive, return to lodge for a hearty breakfast followed by check out for your journey to the land of the great herd of elephants, Amboseli National park. Amboseli is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro which is the second largest mountain in the world. It dominates the landscape and open plains. Arriving with a short game drive enroute to lodge, check in, have lunch and a short rest. After having afternoon tea, you will set off for an afternoon game drive at the park returning to camp in good time for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Tsavo West National Park

Early morning game drive can be taken in Amboseli when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds, the game Proceeds to the area of Lake Amboseli, which is a wide salt pan, consisting of permanent swamps. This area has much game, large and small, high concentration of Elephant, rhino, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Masai giraffe and small species of the antelope family, the common water buck, klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, impala, topi, and the diminutive duiker among others. We then drive to Tsavo West National Park, a stop-over is made at Mzima Springs, the source of most of Mombasa’s fresh water; you can walk down to an underwater observation chamber where it is literally possible to watch hippo or crocodile swim along the floor of this crystal clear spring. Tsavo is particularly famous for its large herds of elephants. There are many tourist attractions at Tsavo West National Park, from safari tours to see the red-skinned elephants, to bird watching and hill hiking, to caving and boating. There are many Kenyan animals in the park, including elephants, African lions, hippos, cheetahs, hartebeest and buffalo. Tsavo West National Park covers 7065km² but the terrain is much more varied than that of Tsavo East. It ranges from 200-1000m in altitude. Day 7

Diani Beach

After breakfast, morning games drive in Tsavo West national park. The main purpose in this park is to see Kenyan animals in their natural state. It never ceases to surprise people when they see birds perched near crocodiles, or gazelles grazing near big cats; however, the truth is that predators generally only kill to eat and, otherwise, the animals live together in harmony.

These are the most common Kenyan animals you may see during your visit to Tsavo West National Park: Cape buffalo, cheetahs, duikers, African elephants, gazelles, gerenuks, giraffes, hares, hartebeests, hyenas, impalas, leopards, lions, mongoose, black faced velvet monkeys, Sykes’s monkeys, crested porcupines, giant rats, black rhinoceros, squirrels, warthogs, waterbucks, and zebras. Exit the park and drive to Mombasa Diani Beach. Checking in at your resort for dinner and overnight. You will bid your safari driver/guide goodbye for a relaxing beach experience awaits you!

Diani Beach

On this day, you can choose to relax at the hotel’s swimming pool or at the beach. You can also experience the various water sport activities offered at Mombasa beach hotel including diving, jet-ski, boat trips, kite surfing, among others at your own cost. Other various activities include water polo, beach volleyball, beach soccer, and aqua fitness offered at Mombasa beach hotel.

Spend the day at leisure. You may also opt to organize with the hotel at the reception for available water sport activities.

Depart

After breakfast enjoy a few moments at the hotel before being transferred to Diani airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight to Wilson airport, Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to JKIA for your outbound flight via dinner.
